Build around the way your discipline documents care
An assessment, progress note and discharge summary serve different purposes. Identify required fields, outcome measures and review steps with the people who write the records. A shared practice needs enough consistency to support continuity without forcing every discipline into the same form.
Review the whole record lifecycle
Ask to see drafts, signing, corrections and export. Confirm who can view, edit and approve a record, and what happens when a practitioner leaves. Review audit history and retention settings as part of clinical release acceptance. Flor’s public demo does not accept notes or patient records.
A signed note needs a correction
Use a blank progress-note template and a fictional client. Create a draft, identify who may review it and walk through the signing step in a guided environment. Then introduce a correction to the session date or observation. The evaluator should be able to distinguish the original record from the amendment and explain the history without relying on a screenshot. Finally inspect an export to confirm that the note remains readable outside the application.
| Check in the demonstration | Evidence to record |
|---|---|
| Draft and signed states distinguished | Describe the observed result using fictional data. |
| Amendment history and author visible | Record the role, exception and any manual work required. |
| Readable record export reviewed | Agree on pass, follow-up or unavailable before rollout. |
Continue with patient portal software for connected care and practice reporting and team visibility to test the connected steps. The interactive Flor demo provides fictional examples for the discussion.
A few common questions
Can I upload a sample patient chart?
Please do not upload or paste patient information into this website or Flor chat. Use fictional examples when discussing requirements.
Are note templates a compliance guarantee?
No. Templates must be reviewed against the obligations and workflow of your practice.
